MINIMAL CHIC
Last week we shared an outfit by Hannah Theisen of Life+Style+Justice. If you haven't checked out her blog yet, I highly recommend it!
I love one of her most recent posts where she shows us her "capsule wardrobe" consisting of newer ethical items, vintage/thrifted items, and conventionally purchased items that have stood the test of time. This photo shows all of the clothing items Hannah owns - seriously! Read about it here.
In keeping with her minimalist philosophy, this week Hannah modeled an outfit based around the ever-versatile little black dress, paired with some cute and timeless accessories.
In this look:
Madison Little Black Dress - Made under fair labor practices in India using 100% organic cotton.
Tiny Silver Studs- Handmade in the USA.
Silver Skinny Bangle Bracelet- Handmade in the USA.
Floral Tapestry Clutch- Fair trade: Made by artisans in Guatamala.
Hannah says, "I love that the dress has a bit of stretch to it- it's comfortable and easy to move in, and it's form-fitting in the bodice before flowing out into a lovely twirl-worthy skirt. The dress could easily transition from a day at the office paired with a blazer and heels to dinner with the girls with a statement necklace and cute ballet flats. The detail on the clutch is gorgeous and the colors pop against an all-black outfit- chic and bold."
