Travel Wear According to Anna Budai-Louf
Teahupo Earrings, Studded Triangle Bodycon Ponte Dress
When you travel, the last thing you want to stress about is what to wear. Between packing your suitcase that always seems to be too small, booking the best flight, and just picking where to go, planning a trip can be super hard.
Luckily Anna Budai-Louf has just the solution. Anna is an entrepreneur originally from Hungary who moved to the US to become an au pair. Anna's love for travel gave her the idea for her new company Avacato (https://avacato.co.) which plans the trip for you and makes it a surprise as well. I asked Anna if she had any good tips for what to wear while traveling and unsurprisingly she had some really good advice.
Srey Oun Sweater, Sheng Trousers, Sunny Window Mod Cherry Earrings
"If you're planning to walk around the city or go on a walking tour, I would definitely bring a stylish backpack or a bigger shoulder bag that goes with most of your outfits so you can bring a pair of extra shoes or slippers and a sweater/light jacket in case your feet get tired and need some love or the weather changes.
Pack a bottle of water, some wet wipes, a mascara and travel-size sunscreen and nothing can go wrong.
Raw Silk Speckle Crop Top, Urban Zen Leggings, Raw Silk Speckle Wrap
I always pack a cute cross-body bag and/or clutch to bring with me when I go out for dinner. For a weeklong trip, I would suggest to bring three to four different bags to have a couple options to choose from.
Being comfortable is very important to me while traveling. That's why I always bring at least one pair of flat shoes. On the airplane and on walks your feet will thank you.
My favorite style right now is the pointy-toe flats. I've gotten some chic pairs in a bunch of different colors.
Multi Bars Necklace, Dotted Swiss Tie Front Shirt, Riverside Pencil Skirt, Issoria Cuff Bracelet
For photos, I usually bring heels with me hence the bigger shoulder bags. I prefer to be comfortable, but I also have the option to put on some heels if I want a different look."
One of my all-time favorites are cork wedges. They are usually very comfortable, even for a longer period of time and they look very stylish and chic.
Layla Shirtdress, Gramercy Hat
Favorite accessory to wear while traveling? "If I had to pick one, it would be a nice big scarf. A scarf can be used in lots of ways, from a styling accessory to covering your head (in some countries it comes handy) or in place of a light jacket. You can style it to match your outfit or use it as a top, skirt or swimsuit cover-up."
