This grow kit for kids will provide a great beginning gardening experience. They get to personalize the container bag with crayons, sign it, then cut it open, water it, and watch it grow. The plants grow directly in the bag.  It's that simple!

1. Dwarf Sunflowers {Helianthus annuus} in a windowsill or any sunny spot indoors, year-round, directly in the leak proof bag. 

2. Alpine Strawberry {Fragaria vesca} This delicate but easy to grow plant produces delicious, aromatic red strawberries about twice the size of wild berries. Alpine Strawberries bear fruit in the second year; in some cases fruit may appear in the first fall. Alpine strawberry plants stay compact and produce few runners so they make excellent houseplants even when they aren't producing fruit.
